Spare Parts Department

    We've got you covered...

Spare parts for everything from mowers to chainsaws, to pool & spa equipment, through to water pumps & irrigation valves.

We keep fast moving parts on hand at each of our stores, with deeper inventory kept at our central parts warehouse in our Newcastle store.
Anything we don't have on hand can be delivered within 48 hours (if required) from our wide range of suppliers.

What if I don't know the part number for the part I need?

In all cases, if it is at all unclear about which part you require (e.g. a certain bolt or screw), we will ask you to either point the item out on a parts diagram, or send you a diagram via email and have you nominate the part.
If you purchased the equipment you need parts for from us, we have most of the information we need already - your name, address and a rough guesstimate about when you purchased the equipment will help us narrow down any information we need to look up parts.
If you didn't buy it from us, we can still help - with a little help from yourself.

It's incredibly important to make sure the correct part is selected & ordered the first time:

        • Parts often take up to 48 hours to arrive - if the wrong parts are selected and we need to order a second (or third!) time, your machine might be out of operation for a week or more.
        • Sending parts back if not required or ordered incorrectly incurs a minimum 25% restocking fee with most of our suppliers - that means if you ordered a $100 part, and it doesn't solve your problem, you are likely to receive a maximum $75 refund after restocking charges.

For those reasons, we will require the following information in order to supply your parts.

        For engine parts:

        • Kohler - we need Model, Spec & Serial numbers, which are normally on a sticker/label on the engine cowling.
        • Briggs & Stratton - we need Model, Type & Code numbers, which are usually stamped/engraved into the OHV cover (or into the cowling on some older engines).
        • Honda - we need Model & Spec numbers, which are usually stamped into the crankcase of the engine.
        • Kawasaki - we need Model & Family numbers, which are normally on a sticker/label on the engine cowling.

        For equipment parts:

Generally we will need the following - brand, model & serial number. When we say model, we almost always mean the equipments numerical model - which is almost always written on the serial number plate.
Telling us you have a Cub Cadet LX2 tractor, or a Toro Timecutter MX zero turn mower is a great start - but it's a little like telling an automotive mechanic you have a Holden Commodore. It narrows things down, but doesn't give us the information we need to look up spare parts for your machine.

        For pool & spa equipment:

For cleaners, chlorinators & pumps will need to know the brand, model and sometimes serial number.
For media filters (sand, zeolite, glass) things get a little trickier - we need to know the make (if possible) of the multi port valve, as well as the size of the inlet & outlet. It's best to bring the multi port valve in store so we can be certain.
For skimmer parts & baskets - there are hundreds of different variations out there, and skimmer box model information is almost impossible to ascertain. The best bet is to get measure your exisiting basket.

        For water pumps:

We will need to know the brand, model and sometimes serial number.
It's important to realise that there are A LOT of cheaper imported pumps out there that there is simply no spare parts supply for. We will help you where we can, and we will ONLY sell pumps where spare parts supplies are available.

        For irrigation valves etc:

For turf sprinklers etc, we need to know a brand and model of the body - which is usually visible on the top of the sprinkler. If there is no brand/model marked, it's very likely there are no parts available for that particular sprinkler, and you should replace the entire body.
Not all irrigation valves have parts available, but many branded valves do (Hansen/Philmac/Jobe etc) - at minimum we'll need to know a brand & model.
For travelling irrigators we need to know a brand, model & serial number - and if you are after sprinkler parts we need to know the brand and model of sprinkler installed.
For hardline irrigation (Southern Cross, AJAX etc) we need to know the brand (pipe system), diameter of pipe, and sometimes whether you want no drain, slow drain or full drain rubbers.

How can I order spare parts?

We prefer customers to come in store and order in person if possible - that way we can show you relevant spare parts diagram and make sure we are ordering the correct part for you.
If you know what part number you want, you can order over the phone, via email or via out contact form. In the near future you will be able to order spare parts directly from our website, so long as you know the part number.
